Shop Local

The South Cariboo business community as a whole is well-equipped to satisfy a wide variety of customer needs. The Chamber maintains a strong commitment to local shopping with an equally strong belief that the collective value of the 'South Cariboo Shopping Experience' is a competitive force in the marketplace. One of our programs is called Chamber Bucks. This money can only be used at our member stores. Recently we had a company purchase over $100,000 worth and this will greatly help our local businesses! For a list of stores that collect Chamber Bucks CLICK HERE. If you would like more information on purchasing the Chamber Bucks or on how to collect them please call 250-395-6124.

Every month, you spend a lot of money – on your home, your family, your car, food, clothes… the list just goes on.
So when you think about it, that’s a lot of power you hold in your hands. By shifting 10% of your spending to local businesses and producers, the Ten Percent Shift is really just about using some of that power to make your community stronger and an even better place to live. And provide you with great products and services along the way.

To Increase Business Skills
The business environment is constantly changing, and the Chamber and its members recognize it. That is why the Chamber is constantly seeking out high-value seminars that can focus on critical business issues and provide knowledge on how to effectively address them.
